Title devised by the K-12 science coordinator based on St. Vrain Valley School District directive of enriching education. Important Safety Notice: Putting wire directly from the top to the bottom of a battery will cause the battery to overheat and short out. An overheated battery and wire may cause burns. Advise students to always use a bulb along with the wire when testing circuits. This will prevent battery burn out as well as possible injuries to students. Thank you very much.
